Classes Include:
This is strictly a sing and strum technique for those who wish to accompany themselves or others while singing. The student will be taught a variety of chords and how to read the symbols. Several strum styles will be introduced. The students will then receive a capo (included) to give access to all keys. Part of learning to play guitar is practicing regularly so that your calluses will develop gradually and you avoid as much pain as possible. To that end, guitar students must come to lessons 2 times per week for the 6 weeks of the course. Times will be arranged with several days between sessions to allow for healing and practice.
Course Details:
For beginning students 5th grade through adults. As many as 4 people may take this course together, making it excellent for parents to do with children or siblings to do together. Classes are 45 to 60 minutes 2 times per week for 6 weeks. Cost is $150.00 per student for the 6 week course. This includes all music and a capo. Students must bring a working guitar to class each time.
